U3A Development
U3A development includes not only the creation of new U3As but also ensuring the ongoing effectiveness of those U3As already running successfully.
Development is conducted in line with the two objects of U3A and with the guidance of Peter Laslett's "Aims & Principles", so that all can benefit from and participate fully in the U3A project..
The Third Age Trust through the NEC provides many of the resources and support required for development but the action lies with each U3A. The East Midlands Association of U3As endeavours to foster this activity amongst its members.
